Celebrity makeup artist Allison Kaye details the costs associated with preparing for Super Bowl LVII in New Orleans, including flights, hotels, transportation, and food.
Allison Kaye, a celebrity makeup artist known for working with the wives and girlfriends of athletes across various sports leagues, including the NFL , is heading to New Orleans for Super Bowl LVII. This year's Super Bowl , featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 9, comes with a hefty price tag for Kaye, who has already accumulated thousands of dollars in expenses.
Kaye shared her cost breakdown in an Instagram Reel on January 30, two weeks before the big game. She revealed that flights for herself and her assistant totaled $1,511, while her five-night hotel stay cost $4,774, bringing the combined cost of flights and hotels to $6,285.Kaye acknowledges that the Super Bowl week is more than just the game itself. It's a media frenzy with parties, events, and a constant buzz of activity. To navigate this whirlwind, she anticipates spending $800 on Uber rides, double her expenses from last year. She also projects a food budget of $900 for herself and her assistant, considering they plan to eat more than one meal a day. Last year, they managed to survive on a single meal per day, spending $518 on food. Kaye anticipates a total spending of $7,985 for the entire Super Bowl experience, but she'll provide a final tally after the event. With the Chiefs making their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, Kaye might have another client to cater to – Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis and Jason Kelce. Kaye, who previously worked with Donna Kelce, confirmed she informed her about her Super Bowl plans. If the Chiefs win, Kaye hopes to have the opportunity to do Donna Kelce's makeup in New Orleans. While Kaye will be busy managing her clients and navigating the Super Bowl festivities, even catching the game at the historic Caesars Superdome will be expensive. As of Friday evening, the cheapest single ticket on SeatGeek was $3,830. Super Bowl LVII airs on Fox on Sunday, February 9, starting at 6:30 p.m. ET
