The suspects, 39-year-old Noble Lawrence and 33-year-old Desundre Whitfield, are accused of abducting and killing Robert Boyd, 47, and Darryl Lewis, 27. Police say the victims were discovered on October 8, 2023, around 10:15 a.m., after a report was made about two unresponsive men lying on the side of the road.
Investigators say Boyd and Lewis were kidnapped earlier that day from the 12500 block of Ashford Meadow Drive, then shot and abandoned on Buffalo Speedway, where they were later pronounced dead by paramedics.He was charged with capital murder on November 20, 2024. Lawrence was arrested the day before, on November 19, 2024, and also faces capital murder charges.
