ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A ridge of high pressure is going to bring in some sunshine and blocking storms for a portion of the weekend. The next low will encroach on southwest Alaska on Saturday night/Sunday with increasing clouds in southcentral Sunday night.
Rain will continue over southeast Alaska, at least through Saturday. Sunday is likely to hold improved weather conditions. Interior Alaska will benefit from high pressure building over mainland areas.
