MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Whew! It has certainly been a windy last couple of days across Central and South Alabama. That continues today with wind speeds between 10 and 20 mph and gusts as high as 30 mph.The good news about today is that it will be entirely sunny with highs in the lower 70s. Tonight will be the coldest night we’ll see going forward as low temperatures dip down into the lower 40s.
Mostly sunny skies continue all weekend long with noticeably warmer temperatures in the upper 70s Saturday and lower 80s Sunday. Those warmer starts will come courtesy of increasing moisture levels and humidity values. You’ll likely notice a more humid feel to the air as we progress through the week.In terms of any rain chance, there could be a stray shower Tuesday night into Wednesday with a decaying cold front. Most of Central Alabama will stay dry here though. A more substantial chance of rain and storms arrives Thursday night and lasts through Friday.
