Jonas’ rep went on to say that Turner’s claims in her lawsuit go against the “amicable co-parenting setup” he believed they were working toward as recently as Sunday, when they allegedly met to discuss custody.
“Less than 24 hours later, Sophie advised that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK. Thereafter, she demanded via this filing that Joe hand over the children’s passports so that she could take them out of the country immediately,” his rep told Page Six. Jonas, however, fired back with his rep telling Page Six in a statement that he did not “abduct” their children.The duo began dating in 2016 and tied the knot in Las Vegas three years later.After a heated argument on Jonas’ birthday on Aug. 15, their marriage came to an end “very suddenly,” according to Turner.
