After showers move through Saturday, highs will soar to 80 degrees Sunday
A Frost Advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. for most of the Susquehanna Valley, except Franklin and Adams Counties. Cover or bring in sensitive plants for the last time this week! High pressure will bring plentiful sunshine today, with milder highs in the mid-60s. Winds will be light. Tonight, clouds will gradually increase, as a warm front approaches, and temperatures will fall to the low 40s.
We'll see scattered showers Saturday afternoon, then drier weather toward evening. Highs will reach the upper 50s. What a change Sunday! Highs will reach 80 degrees, as the warm front moves north, and a few showers or thunderstorms are possible. Monday will feature the warmest temperatures of the week, in the mid-80s. Monday's record high is 90 degrees set in 1974.A cold front will approach Tuesday, leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening.
