In fact, temperatures will reach around 90° each afternoon through about mid-week. Later in the week, we’ll see the return of moisture and slightly higher rain chances in our area. We’ll also be watching the Gulf of Mexico for potential tropical development at this time.
The area that has our attention is a broad low located in the western Caribbean. This tropical disturbance will likely move north and west, potentially entering the Gulf of Mexico late this week. It has the potential to become a tropical depression or tropical storm before impacting some portion of the Gulf Coast. The exact details regarding timing and impacts of this potential tropical system are highly uncertain at this moment.
