James Fieldhouse in Springfield, VA. Aleah Sunkins dominated for Franklin , recording a game-high 19 points while adding 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals. Her all-around performance helped Franklin establish control early, as the team jumped out to a 14-5 lead after the first quarter.Franklin maintained its advantage throughout the second half despite Jackson Reed showing more offensive life. The Warriors outscored Franklin 18-17 in the third quarter, but Franklin responded by winning the fourth quarter 18-17 to secure the 13-point victory. Franklin’s balanced attack featured three players with seven points each: Kayla Duncan, Jamila McRiney, and Alissa Myers. Gianna Mattia added eight points, including two 3-pointers. The team was efficient from beyond the arc, connecting on nine 3-pointers. Franklin’s defense was particularly disruptive, recording 17 steals. McRiney led with five steals, while Duncan added four. The Warriors also controlled the glass with a significant rebounding advantage with 31 total.
