Nasir joined Sundowns during the off-season from Ethiopian Premier League club Ethiopian Coffee where he scored an impressive 43 goals over the last two seasons.Though he has impressed since his arrival at Sundowns with three goals in four appearances, the attacker has also battled with injuries in adjusting to South African football that has seen him miss the last six games across all competitions.
Tefera had spells at Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits, and Highlands Park among a host of South African clubs throughout a career also spent in Europe and Asia. "With Abu, he needs to do a bit more gym work to strengthen up himself because he has all other things sorted on the field of play.
"I have already told him about the need to toughen up so that he gets to be a player who plays regularly.
