Mamelodi Sundowns training for their important DStv Premiership clash against Orlando Pirates.DStv Premiership leaders have started their Christmas initiative and visited a centre that houses children living with a disability. Masandawana got their 7 Days of Christmas With Mamelodi Sundowns initiative underway by visiting a Witbank-based disability centre.
Lead by club ambassador and former player Tiyani Mabunda, the club donated supporters tees and gifts to the children in need with the club aiming to spread some Christmas love to children in need. The Christmas spirit is reaching fever pitch at Masandawana as they kicked off an initiative that aims to support people in need during this joyous period.
With 25 December edging ever closer, Downs headed to the Siphosenkosi Disabled Centre and Overnight to donate gifts, put a Christmas tree and to show some Festive Season joy to the children and community.As stated by Mabunda, the club isn't confined to one location and they aim to help out wherever they can.
As seen in the video, the centre has children living with different disabilities. Such as Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy, which is also pointed out by a representative, Rachel Sibuyi. The clip posted by the club also showed someone dressed as Santa Clause handing out gifts to the children, take a look:
