The Fifa international break was beneficial for Mamelodi Sundowns as they have cleared their casualty ward with defender Khuliso Mudau and midfielder Rivaldo Coetzee back at training.
Mngqithi said City, their hosts at the Cape Town Stadium, have the potential to deny them registering their eighth win in succession and going 13 matches without conceding a goal.
“We are going into this game with a lot of respect and humility. The MTN8 result is history and it is important to go into this match and respect it because they gave us a tough time in the MTN8 final. “At Sundowns all we want is to win and to play good football but we must do that with a lot of respect for what the opponents are also capable of, and that is basically what we have to guard against.”
“At times they play with three centre backs and at times they play with two centre backs. In the final, about the 70th minute they changed the shape into a three man defence with Edmilson Dove playing next to Taariq Fielies.
