Sundowns chase top spot as CAF Champions League group phase ends
The Brazilians, who won 3-1 in Garoua in Cameroon last month, are top of group B on 10 points from five matches, and another win, which will be their fourth, will see them finish as group winners.
The two teams qualified from group A and the game will determine who finishes first. A draw for holders at home will see them grab the top spot.In group B, where whipping boys Coton Sport are already eliminated and Sundowns are leading the way, the equation is simple for record-winner Al Ahly. In group D, leaders Esperance need to avoid a defeat at home against Algerian side CR Belouizdad in Radès, Tunisia, to finish as group winners.
The seeded teams will be drawn against the unseeded teams, with the seeded teams hosting the second leg.Teams from the same group could not be drawn against each other, while teams from the same association can be drawn against each other.
