Sunday marks 14 years since the 'Miracle on the Hudson.'
Capt. Chesley"Sully" Sullenberger made the daring emergency landing on the
near 42nd Street. With help from the Coast Guard, the FDNY, and 14 ferries, all 155 people on board were rescued."Miracle on the Hudson": Then to now"I knew what I was looking at. I knew what I had to do. So, I pulled the crew up to the house and got them prepared and headed straight out," Lombardi said."I was so happy to be a part of something that had a positive effect on so many people's lives.
The incident was later turned into a movie starring Tom Hanks, which also featured several NY Waterway ferry crew members.
