The new documentary chronicling “Queen of Tejano Music” Selena Quintanilla faced a series of highs and lows on Friday. First, “Selena y Los Dinos” won the U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Archival Storytelling at the Sundance Film Festival . The film showcases never-before-seen footage and photos from the Quintanilla family archives, made available to director Isabel Castro. Hours later, Sundance removed the documentary from its streaming platform due to copyright infringement.
