: Sultan Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah berkenan berangkat ke Sambutan Hari Pahlawan Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan Tahun 2024 di Dataran Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan di sini hari ini.
Keberangkatan tiba baginda pada 9 pagi disambut Menteri Besar Perak Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, Panglima Armada Barat Laksamana Madya Datuk Shamsuddin Ludin, Ketua Polis Perak Datuk Azizi Mat Aris dan Panglima Briged Kedua Infantri Malaysia Brig Jen Datuk Asri Shukor. Barisan perhimpunan pula melibatkan 408 pegawai dan anggota pasukan keselamatan termasuk Veteran Angkatan Tentera Malaysia dan pesara polis.
Majlis yang berlangsung dalam cuaca hujan renyai diteruskan dengan bacaan doa oleh ASP Mohd Mahyuddin Mohd Mokhtar dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Ipoh, diikuti deklamasi sajak bertajuk “Darah Yang Terpercik Di Baju” hasil nukilan Norazimah Abu Bakar pada 2020.
