Sultan Johor arah majlis agama siasat sepanduk 'anti-Rohingya' di Masai

PETALING JAYA: Sultan Johor hari ini mengarahkan Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Johor dan pejabat penghulu menjalankan siasatan terperinci sepanduk “anti-Rohingya” di Masai, yang dipasang di surau sebuah kampung.

Sultan Ibrahim juga mahu semua pihak berhenti menyebarkan khabar angin dan spekukasi, kerana ia hanya akan menimbulkan persepsi negatif dalam kalangan rakyat. “Jangan terburu-buru mengeluarkan kenyataan di media sosial tanpa usul periksa sehingga lupa bahawa perkara yang ditulis kemungkinan adalah fitnah,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Sebelum ini, tular di media sosial sepanduk mengusir Rohingya dari memasuki Kampung Plentong Baru, yang dipasang pada di sebuah surau. Ahli Parlimen Pasir Gudang, Hassan Karim beritahu FMT, ketua kampung berkata jawatankuasa surau tidak memasang sepanduk itu, yang tertera “Kami tak perlukan anda di sini”.
