Imperial Char House redevelopment takes key next step with Sugar Land council vote
The Sugar Land City Council increased the number of multifamily units allowed in the Imperial Regional Activity Center from 526 units to 1200 units.A Sugar Land City Council vote on Tuesday brings a plan to redevelop the historic Imperial Char House building a step closer to reality.
The rezoning will allow Puma to create a final development plan for the property that would be subject to approval by the city's planning and zoning board and City Council. City Council increased the total multifamily units allowed for the Imperial Regional Activity Center to 1,200 units.
