Sugar Land committee approves upscale living community for young professionals with dog park, offices
Sugar Land City Council will consider a final development plan in May for an upscale multifamily residential development that would target high-income young professionals., which was approved by the city's planning and zoning commission on Monday, calls for 370 one- or two-bedroom units in a development would feature a parking garage, five live-work units and amenities including a dog park.
The development would be built on about 6.5 vacant acres along Creek Bend Drive south of Fluor Daniel Drive near the Milano Event Center and Altus Home Health.On the ground floor facing the street, about 9,600 square feet of flex-office co-working space would be available for lease adjacent to a 4,425-square-foot meeting space, according to city documents.
