Katy Roberts says she is emotional after completing her ride around the British coastline.
A woman who cycled around the coast of mainland Great Britain in memory of her father said she was "emotional" after completing the challenge.Now 34, she started her 3,500-mile rideShe raised more than £13,000 for mental health charities - £3,000 more than her original target.
"I actually had quite a lot of people join me on the way who had either suffered a lot with mental health or lost someone to suicide," she told"On Sunday it was quite overwhelming. I had lots of people at the end, friends and stuff who I didn't know were going to be there.Over the 12 weeks, Ms Roberts was able to see a great deal of the coastline."Even though it rained pretty much the whole time, it was so different, so vast; it was stunning.
"I'm hoping that I can keep advocating for mental health and getting outdoors, being active," she said. "I'm hoping I can open some doors for that - not necessarily paid work but even just some volunteering and talking about it."Ms Roberts added she was "very grateful" for the donations and support she had had on her journey.
