reported on Johanson’s passing, having confirmed the details with her representative. Johanson passed away surrounded by her family in a long-term care home in Thornhill, Ontario.

“My mom was amazing. She could be anywhere at any time, and people would recognize her voice,” Jane Johanson said toNews Network. “She never brushed people aside. She treated everyone absolutely the same. She was never judgmental, nor was she condescending or disapproving of any question that came her way … I think everybody felt like they had another mother or another grandmother with Sue.”

A television version of the show would be broadcasted on the W Network from 1996 to 2005 alongside Talk Sex With Sue Johanson, which began in 2002 and ended in 2008.

Outside of her own shows, Johanson appeared on talk shows like Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She also played the character of Dr. Sally in Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi: The Next Generation.
