Following a successful event this past weekend, My Cape Town Market Green Point will return to the Old Bowling Green for the second week in a row this Sunday with more of Cape Town’s delicious foods, trendy designs and fashion, artisanal goodies and refreshing beverages.Capetonians and city visitors took advantage of last Sunday’s sunny weather to enjoy hours of shopping and entertainment from buskers, emerging artists and a children’s play zone at My Cape Town Market Green Point.
‘The first My Cape Town Market Green Point brought together a wonderful mix of traders, selling everything from baked goods to flowers, homeware and clothing. And the live entertainment and kids’ play area gave it even more of a buzz,’ said Alderman Vos. ‘It’s exactly what I envisioned when I came up with the concept for this type of market, which we do to give entrepreneurs a perfect place to trade and to connect them with a new market of consumers.
