The Australian Federal Police has charged one man and are searching for another after a ram raid in Canberra last week saw a Subaru Outback used as a battering ram to obtain an electric trike. At about 3:20am on Friday, December 6, CCTV cameras in Westfield Woden captured a Subaru Outback being driven into the shopping centre, before going front-first into the window of a Cash Converters.
Despite the Outback featuring a large boot with enough space to hold multiple large items, the man who climbed out of the wagon can be seen grabbing and attempting to ride away on an e-trike.
