Former FC Barcelona stars Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi told Messi to join a Premier League instead of PSG.
The three players once formed one of the deadliest attacking trios in football history, scoring a staggering 253 goals in the 113 matches they played together from the 2014/15 season to the 2016/17 campaign, perTheir time together at the Camp Nou came to an abrupt end in 2017, however, when Neymar reportedly had a fallout with the club's hierarchy, with the situation resulting in a record-breaking transfer to Paris Saint-Germain for a mammoth €222 million .
"If Neymar had stayed at Barcelona, he would have won a Ballon d'Or, for sure," Suarez told Spanish news outlet, with the Selecao talisman having finished third for the Golden Ball in 2015 and 2017, but has not returned to the podium since moving to PSG.
