The walk around Southwell takes a little over a mile and is a four-mile route
One of the best ways to spend time with friends and family over the summer is by going on a walk together. Whether it's a peaceful stroll or a challenging hike, there are so many wonderful places across Nottinghamshire to explore.
There are so many beautiful things to see around the town and we have found one of the best walks to take to explore it. This walk is one of the Discover Southwell Trails and takes around 70 minutes to complete the four-mile route. Then you head towards Maythorne village, which will take you through lots of countryside to the Old Silm Mill. You then go over a footbridge and keep the river on your right, and you will soon see the spires of Southwell Minster.
