Hope for a coronavirus treatment: Study finds plasma is safe to use in COVID patients
Convalescent plasma therapy is when the liquid portion of blood is taken from a recovered coronavirus patient. It is transferred into a sick patient in the hopes they will develop the antibodies needed to fight off the infection.
