It can inspire, bring hope, and touch the soul of its audience.
At the request from the borough, the Creative Arts Council and middle school students from Crest Memorial School teamed up for the project to bring the message of peace, hope and love. Franco approached arts council members, including Carmen Cusella, and Linda Ennis to come up with an idea to show support for Ukraine. On the shells are messages the students wanted to share — “love one another,” “respect others,” and “stay strong,” are among the thoughts written on the more than 200 shells.
