PETALING JAYA: The standard operating procedures (SOP) for university students travelling home are now available for download on the Higher Education Ministry’s website.
The SOP in Bahasa Malaysia gives detailed pre-movement preparations as well as steps students and parties involved should take before arriving at their respective destinations.
The document also lists a few key points for students to keep in mind and also provides the hotlines to contact the operations rooms of public and private universities. It is stated in the document that the SOPs will be used by all ministries and agencies involved in the exodus of students who have been stuck in their hostels for almost six weeks.
