Ohio State students and parents want the university to expand perimeter for where Buckeye Alerts are issued.
No one was injured, but Columbus Police said the alleged shooter ditched his car new Lawrence Towner and ran away from the campus area.only a few blocks from campus. Police said drivers in two different vehicles were chasing each other and one started shooting. The university also sends out Public Safety Alerts. According to OSU, those notices are sent after a crime has occurred to alert the community about crime trends. Following the shooting along Chittenden Sunday, OSU Police posted about the incident on itsAllen said her son lives along Chittenden.
