Students who participated in the class"Youth for the Future" at Braden Middle School in Ashtabula were honored before Thursday's Cavaliers game for their efforts to combat school shootings and improve teenage mental health.

"We want to change how people look at ," classroom adviser Joslin Seeds said last year."It isn’t just suicide. It’s everything." "It’s a really big issue," 8th grader Chase Morris said."It’s skyrocketing and we need to save those people. It was a classroom project and it came from a small project to a very big thing and we’re saving lives.""It’s in a lot of the school districts and you see it at the football games," 'Youth For The Future' teacher and mentor Sally Bradley explained."It’s almost surreal that it’s happening.
