A school in Adelaide's northern suburbs has been placed into lockdown after a student was allegedly stabbed by another student.
SA Police said the victim has been taken to hospital with cuts to her torso, but the girl's injuries are not life-threatening.
The incident happened at an Elizabeth Park school, where police and ambulance crews were called about 9am."[The victim] was taken to the Women's and Children's Hospital for treatment however her injuries are not considered life-threatening," police said in a statement.The situation has been contained, police said — but they are now investigating the incident.
