Sgt. Adam Julian, a spokesperson with the West Jordan Police Department, said the student was hospitalized with "injuries consistent with a stabbing." Julian said that the school's resource officer received information about a possible fight in the parking lot just after noon on Wednesday.
By the time the resource officer got there, however, the fight was already over.The resource officer talked to a few witnesses to figure out what happened and learned there was "possibly a stabbing." They then got information from an area hospital that a student had been admitted with injuries consistent with a stabbing. The student, only identified as female, appeared to be mildly injured, Julian said. "She's in stable condition."
