Student expelled, charged after alleged rape, Falls Church police say.
The accused student was expelled upon report of the incident to school officials, the police said. Police said they began a two-month investigation.The investigation gave detectives probable cause to believe a second juvenile female had also been sexually assaulted, off campus outside school hours about a month earlier, the police said.
He said he could not comment on an ongoing legal matter. But said, “safety and security of our schools is the top priority.” In Loudoun County, two sexual assaults by a high school student in 2021, and the response to them, touched off a storm of controversy and ignited nationwide attention.
