Carrick Rangers move into the last four of the County Antrim Shield
Stuart King insisted he was always going to field a strong side in the Co Antrim Shield quarter-final against Dundela as he bids to bring some silverware to Carrick Rangers.
"I also don't have the luxury to make sweeping changes. I have 18 players and about six of them are carrying knocks so I had to go strong. But the hosts responded instantly regaining the lead thanks to an own goal before Joe Crowe's spectacular strike wrapped up the scoring."I'm delighted we got through, it's the first semi-final for us to be involved in, but I thought we were poor," he said."With the greatest respect to Dundela, who are flying in the Championship, I thought it was comfortable in the first half.
