Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has bemoaned the injuries suffered by Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro in the Soweto derby and believes they will probably not be in training for at least a week.
Billiat was taken off in the first half, while Castro was forced off after coming on as a substitute during the derby which was played at Orlando Stadium on Saturday."Both of those injuries are very disappointing because when you work at an elite club, your biggest enemy is soft tissue injuries. The reason they are the biggest enemies is because they are more or less being put out of business now because of our training methods.
"I said to the players I was not happy with the way we managed the game in the last 10 minutes. The decisions we took on the ball, to allow them to deliver more balls into our box. We were living on a knife-edge. Delighted to win the derby and everybody at the football club, including the supporters. But we have to be better than that. We have to manage games better. We have to stick to what we said we are going to do better," Baxter told media after the match.
