A stronger line of severe storms will push across the inland portions of the forecast area through late evening Wednesday. The primary threats include damaging winds and the possibility of isolated tornadoes. Residents in inland areas should remain weather-aware and have a way to receive warnings throughout the evening. A second line of showers and storms will develop over inland areas Wednesday night and push closer to the coast by mid-morning Thursday.
While severe weather remains possible, the threat is lower as these storms move toward coastal regions, especially by lunchtime Thursday. Keep pets indoors and securedThe active weather pattern doesn’t end Thursday. Additional rain will return Friday afternoon and evening, with good chances of rain continuing overnight Friday night and into Saturday. Rain chances jump to 70% on Saturday, and Sunday looks even wetter with an 80% chance of rain and potential showers and storms.
