Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor's co-star Vincent Simone has spoken about his friend's search for love
Strictly Come Dancing 's Robin Windsor was a man who just "wanted to be loved", according to a devastated friend.
Vincent, who met Robin when he was just 17, spoke about his friend's quest for romance and his open battle with depression. He disclosed: "Robin was always falling in love. It was a big thing for him. The poor man just wanted to be loved. He had loads of love from the rest of us, almost too much." Following the news of Robin's death, Davide posted on Instagram: "I deeply appreciate everyone's messages following Robin's untimely passing. Please understand that I'm currently overwhelmed and unable to respond individually. Your support means a lot to me. Thank you for respecting my need for space as I come to terms with this tragic loss."
Back in 2014, after noticing Robin's photograph on Gay Times magazine, Marcus decided to reach out by tweeting him. Recalling their early interactions, Robin said: "Marcus Tweeted me to say 'You're looking really good, well done'! ".
