Strictly's Tyler West brands Helen Skelton 'savage' after he's left 'fuming' by co-star prank
Strictly Come Dancing star Tyler West branded Helen Skelton 'savage' as he shared a glimpse at the backstage antics on the live tour. The Kiss FM DJ and Countryfile host are currently on the road with several of their fellow Strictly 2022 alumni as the BBC One show dazzles audiences in arenas across the country.
And while backstage in Manchester at the AO Arena on Saturday night , Tyler, 26, captured the moment that Helen, 39, made a stinging remark to one of the show's dancers, Neil Jones. Tyler was filming the live show's leaderboard which showed him sitting in second place with a score of 29 following their first routine behind Stockport-born actor Will who had received a perfect 30 from the judges putting him top at the halfway mark of the show. "Look at that, we're second," Tyler was heard saying about himself and dance partner Dianne Buswell.
The mum-of-three, who looked glam in a white satin dress with silver sparkles and a black and white cape while also donning black gloves, said: "At least you're on the leaderboard," to which Neil's jaw dropped and Tyler laughed. "He was in my dance. He was actually in my dance though," Tyler then tried to say in support.
