Karen said there were times where all she wanted to do was hide away from the world
Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer has spoken out about how following her split from Kevin Clifton she struggled to get out of the bed. The couple split in March 2018 after three years for marriage, with Karen describing the split as one of the "toughest periods of her life."

I went through a really tough divorce, and it was the most difficult thing I’ve faced on my own — and, I guess, in a spotlight." and reside in her own "little cocoon". The BBC star explained it was Betty that got her through the difficult times, who the dancer adopted in 2018 from Bosnia.
