Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has sent his former dancing partner Rose Ayling-Ellis a loving message moments after he announced his return to the BBC dance competition. The Italian pro dancer won Strictly with contestant Rose Ayling-Ellis, who is deaf, in 2021 as the pair swept the judges off their feet and won the hearts of the nation with their impressive and often important dances which raised awareness of Rose's condition.
On his Instagram story, he asked fans to send in their questions and responded in turn with a loving message for Rose Ayling-Ellis. Asked by one fan: "What was your favourite dance with Rose?", he replied: "Too many to choose from... we had the best time @Rose Ayling-Ellis."Back in 2021, Gio confirmed how Rose was the 'best thing that happened to him' on Strictly. He said: "Definitely I have said that, she's definitely the best thing that's happened.
Another asked: "How is your ankle? x", to which Gio said, presumably because he had been asked by many people: "Lots of this... is better, thank you for asking."
