Starring Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx and Australian actor Isla Fisher, Strays is an R-rated comedy about friendship that will have you howling with laughter.

As a heartwarming story about friendship, camaraderie and loyalty. As a revenge tale with dogs at its centre. As a commentary on Stockholm Syndrome and its dangers. The premise is this: sweet, naïve Border Terrier Reggie is abandoned by his owner Doug .When Reggie meets the loveable foul-mouthed Boston Terrier named Bug , it dawns on him that Doug actually treats him atrociously, and so he gangs up with his newly found dog buddies to seek revenge.

While Strays may give you the warm and fuzzies, don't take your young children along thinking it's a few cute dogs on an adventure.Cleverly scripted by Dan Perrault, Strays beautifully ties up loose ends throughout the film and comes to a highly satisfying conclusion – for everyone except Doug.Real dogs were used when filming and those that didn't have a permanent home were found new owners once the production wrapped up.

One of the dogs was even adopted by director Josh Greenbaum, who revealed in the production notes that he was told the two adorable puppy Border Terriers that played young Reggie wouldn't have a home to go to after the shoot."They immediately said we've got to name him Reggie because he played Reggie in the movie.

"I came home after shooting the film, introduced Reggie to the family, and now I have Will Ferrell in my house." With a random cameo from Dennis Quaid and a scene featuring a hilariously creepy narrator dog, Strays is the deep belly laugh you didn't know you needed till the credits rolled.
