The release of a Stranger Things season 4 script page could give fans some clues about Max's fate. Stranger Things is one of Netflix's most successful shows of all-time, having broken several viewership records during its run. Season 4 premiered on the streaming service earlier this year, and the show's fifth and final season is expected to be released sometime in late 2023 or early 2024.

There have been several fan theories about potential Stranger Things season 5 plotlines, but one of the most notable is the idea that Eddie Munson may have survived his Upside Down death, and become a member of Vecna's army. However, if this page of script is any indication, perhaps Eddie might not be trapped with Vecna, but Max instead.
