I appreciate your support.’ There’re like, ‘I adore Harry Potter, and I love the character.'” The 21-year-old actor said that he generally responds by saying, “Oh, wrong franchise.” Both agreed that there are “some similarities.” Schnapp added, “Yes, there’s a little ‘The Boy Who Lived’ and ‘Zombie Boy’ kind of parallels.” Schnapp’s character, Will Byers, has gone through an incredible character arc that reaches its new peak in the first part of the latest season. Given the nature of the revelation, drawing parallels between the two franchises makes much more sense now. The actor also shared that he got the chance to step into the director’s shoes for a scene featuring a young Will.
