“I think I was so moved by it because I think, in family, there's so much we want, right? There's so much we want,” he said. “We want to be understood. We want to be heard. We want to understand, and there's so much that we won't be able to.

“We're just all searching through all the stuff to get to hopefully a connection of love, you know, and that's what this movie is about. I definitely saw similarities in my relationship with my parents and with the younger generation in my family. “Things I understand, things I think I understand but I don't at all, and I was really moved by that.
