What To Expect From Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 Episode 3 Paul Wesley joins Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2 in a recurring role as James T. Kirk, but episode 3 throws a surprising twist in his return: Wesley appears to be playing Captain Kirk again instead of the younger Lt. James T. Kirk. In Strange New Worlds season 1's finale, Wesley played a version of Captain Kirk from a now-deleted alternate future.
The mysterious time traveler Lt. La'an Noonien-Singh encounters in the corridor of the USS Enterprise in the clip from "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" seems to have sent her to another reality. Strange New Worlds season 2, episode 3 appears to be a time travel adventure that sends La'an and Kirk to the past i.e. our present-day to stop some sort of calamity.
