Pluto TV will soon feature Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 1 among several other Paramount+ shows on its free streaming service.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 1 is coming to Pluto TV. The hit Star Trek prequel series premiered in May 2022 to widespread critical and fan acclaim. Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, who commands the USS Enterprise on a new five-year mission of exploration alongside his Number One, Lt. Commander Una Chin-Riley and Lt. Spock .
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT As announced by Deadline, Pluto TV, which is owned by Paramount Global, will stream Strange New Worlds season 1 on its free service beginning Thursday, April 20th. For 30 days, the full Strange New Worlds season 1 will be available during primetime on Pluto TV's Paramount+ Picks channel. Other Paramount+ series in this initiative include Mike Judge’s Beavis & Butt-Head, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, and iCarly.
Evidently, Paramount+ is setting Strange New Worlds as the new flagship Star Trek on Paramount+ series. The widely-acclaimed Star Trek: Picard season 3 ends on Paramount+ on April 20, the same day Strange New Worlds season 1 hits Pluto TV. In addition, Star Trek: Discovery season 5 will mark the end of the inaugural Star Trek on Paramount+ series in 2024.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 1 premieres on Pluto TV's Paramount+ Picks Channel on April 20. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 premieres June 15 on Paramount+.
