Several students painted their faces black at a Sept. 1 football game, launching an investigation by the school district.
in Summit County is investigating an incident in which students allegedly wore blackface at a high school football game earlier this month, according to a statement issued by the district’s superintendent.
Bratten said that the school district “does not condone the use of blackface by anyone for any reason as it is patently offensive and reinforces historically racist stereotypes.”
