) - Franchesca Pena and Barbara Charnetski visited the FOX10 News Studios and spoke with Lenise Ligon about an upcoming StoryCorps event in Mobile.
Pena is the site manager for StoryCorps Mobile and Charnetski is an underwriting account executive and community liaison with Alabama Public Radio. StoryCorps will be in Mardi Gras Park from Thursday, Oct. 26, through Wednesday, Nov. 22. They will be recording local stories to be archived in the National Archives and locally. It is a free opportunity for people from the community to have a platform to share their stories, an opportunity to learn more about one another, or just a space to share a meaningful conversation.
