Storm signals raised in Luzon as ButchoyPH barrels towards northern Quezon
MANILA - The state weather bureau on Thursday raised tropical cyclone wind signals over different parts of Luzon as Tropical Depression Butchoy advanced towards the island.
The weather disturbance is expected to cross Polillo Island and make landfall over northern Quezon or southern Aurora area between Thursday night and Friday morning.These areas, including other parts of southern Luzon, parts of Visayas and Mindanao, may experience occasional gusts associated with Butchoy and the southwest monsoon, said PAGASA.
Those with small seacraft are advised not to venture out to sea while larger sea vessels must take precaution against rough seas.
