MANILA, Philippines — At least seven cities in Metro Manila have been placed under Signal No. 1 due to Severe Tropical Storm Nika which may intensify into a typhoon today, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
