Storm Agnes has landed in Ireland, felling trees, knocking out the electricity supply and causing flooding. The 'angry' storm is making its way to the UK, where weather warnings are in place across much of the country. The RNLI has said 'dangerous conditions' are likely.

Yesterday, the institution said Storm Agnes was likely to cause"dangerous conditions" on the coasts around the UK and Ireland and warned the weather could"knock you off your feet or wash you into the sea".Ireland correspondent"There are now thousands of homes throughout the southeast of Ireland without power, in County Waterford and in counties Cork and Kerry in particularly," he said.
Storm Agnes is set to truly take hold further north in Ireland over the coming hours - but coastal areas to the south have already felt the full force of near 70mph winds - leaving one building in County Cork without a roof Agnes will arrive later this afternoon, having passed through Ireland to come from west to east and travelling in a somewhat northerly direction.
